Third Street Promenade and Seeing Joss Whedon!!

Last night I drove up to Santa Monica to visit a college friend since he was down in the area. His work place is right next to the 3rd Street Promenade so we walked along the street and grabbed dinner at a Mexican joint. It wasn’t the best Mexican food I’ve ever had but it was still pretty good. The mango margarita probably helped.

On our way to dinner, I almost ran into someone and when I looked up, right in front of me was Joss Whedon! I was so star struck (Joss Whedon is one of my idols) and I then proceeded to text and tweet everyone I knew. Joss Whedon is the first celebrity I’ve seen in my short three weeks here and I couldn’t have wished for a better first celebrity. Do I sound like an over-crazed fan girl yet?

We spent the rest of the night catching up and walking towards the beach but I didn’t want to drive home too late. The 405 still scares me though it is a lot quieter at night.

Today wasn’t a particularly exciting day. I got out of the house to do laundry and buy some groceries. Other than that, I’ve been binging on “Orange is the New Black.” I definitely want to read the book it’s based off of. Hope everyone’s having a great weekend!
