My First Weekend!

It’s the weekend and it’s my first one after I started work. I’m a little surprised that I’m not more exhausted but work isn’t exhausting to me. It’s interesting and engaging and keeps me excited about going in again.

I planned this weekend out to run some errands and take advantage of the fact the boyfriend is here. He brought some stuff for me that I had forgotten at home, like my hair dryer and a whole suitcase of clothes that I had somehow left at home. My mom even packed me a box of goodies with ramen and spam and rice! I can’t wait to start cooking some home-y meals.

We started the morning of pretty early and I went to get some laundry done. Laundry is right next to an acai bowl place but I wasn’t quite feeling that so while the boyfriend got an acai bowl, I grabbed some spring rolls from a nearby Pho place. While I was waiting for my laundry to dry, I had my car washed and gassed. My car was pooped on a lot while I was gone last weekend. It was a productive day!

We also headed over to the Citadel Outlets to do a little shopping. I wanted to take a look at some clothes for work - I realized that I don’t have that many work fancy clothes. I ended up not buying anything work related and buying a pair of work out shorts instead.

For the rest of the night, I think we’re just going to order in Indian food and relax. I might try to get a little bit of work done as well with Survivor playing in the background. Hope all your weekends are nice and relaxing too!
