I came across this article on LinkedIn today and I found it highly relevant to what I’m doing and applicable to other jobs as well. Recruiters should be compassionate, intuitive data smarts, a great salesman, and, in my opinion, amazing communicators. But not just recruiters, everyone should have these skills!
With an ever present emphasis in “well-roundedness” and being an “all-around” candidate, I think it’s important that every person, whether you’re recruiting or being recruited, work on this skill set. It’s not just the secret sauce of great recruiters, but the secret sauce of a great human being!
LinkedIn articles are great and they really put into perspective the hiring process, from all ends. It's becoming some of my favorite reading material. What are some of your work reads?
